The poor blog has taken as serious back burner-type roll these days. And I feel bad about it, really I do. But it's equal parts busy as ever mixed with not wanting to over share and give away certain wedding details that I'm exited about and also that mid-winter-food-slump that seems to get me every year.
But I promise that it hasn't been all work and no fun around here! This weekend was spent crafting crafting crafting. And while there was a certain end goal and purpose to the crafting, it was still a blasty blast.
Two lovely lovely friends came and stayed up until the wee hours of the morning and then again well into the next day helping me fold and fringe and glue and tie and glitter! We jammed out to 90s summer hits on pandora, and then watched our way through many episodes on netflix. It was so much serious fun.
I'm pretty much in shock that all of this is actually coming together. I'm excited to be able to post the tutorials for things, but I'm going to wait until after the actual wedding. I'm a sucker for shock value. (Not that anything at my wedding will be particularly shocking. I guess I should say "surprise value"?) If you've been following me on instagram you've been seeing a few sneak peeks lately. Especially this past weekend.
One of my absolute favorite parts so far are the succulents. I kind of bought them on a whim, unsure of whether or not I was going to be able to propagate them. And knowing that I might have to buy more later down the line. But they are rooting gorgeously, and I love them. I'm pretty sure that I spend a good amount of time every morning staring at all of them individually and claiming that I can tell how much they've grown in the past hours. But really. They are so adorable.
This wedding planning has been so ridiculously fun. Everyone keeps asking if I'm nervous yet. And I'm sure that the mega stress and nerves will set in as the day gets closer. But right now? I'm having an awesome time. I mean, really, look at all that glitter.
